Bill, Ted, Martha, and Cynthia,
I knew your mother for many years and I loved her dearly. She was beautiful inside and outside. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time. Mae will always be remembered for her wit, her sweet smile, and the way she could carry on a conversation about anything. She will be missed by all of us.

As dear friends, I mourn and celebrate the loss yet re-birth of our sister in Christ. We will miss her and her unique presence, but we will celebrate her true goal in this life, was to reach the next one of eternal time. Our hearts go out to those yet to follow her, and our hopes that fond memories are replaced by her physical absence. We pray for comfort in your minds and hearts.

I will miss the Queen Mum! I remember with fondness her parade face in the Hickory Christmas Parade. She had so much fun. My condolences to all in her precious family, but especially to Cynthia and Martha, her devoted daughters, who cared for her and treated her with dignity to the very end. Love you all.

Though we did not have the joy of knowing Mae Geouge, from reading the condelences what a gift she was to all who knew and loved her. Ted wish we could be there with you and Jane and the rest of your family during this time of grieving, remembering, and celebrating the wonderful mother God gave you. Remember in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus God kept His promises. All that we can ever hope for was present in Christ. But the work of God in Christ is not over. God calls us to hope for more than we have yet seen. The hope God gives is ultimate confidence that supports when lesser hopes fail us. In Christ God gives hope for a new heaven and earth, certainity of victory over death. This hope gives us courage for the present struggle. May God''s love, peace, and grace fulfill your every need now and forever more.

Cynthia, Martha & Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Mae made a lasting impression on me from my 1st day of kindergarten. She cared deeply for all the children she taught. Then as a neighbor.....we were so blessed to grow up "on the hill". Bryan and Mae were always such wonderful neighbors to my dad and mom. "The hill" has lost alot of good souls recently. But there is comfort in knowing, we will see them again one day! And what a glad reunion that will be!
Love & prayers,
Carolyn Bowman Gurley

Dear Martha, Cynthia, and family. My deepest sympathy to you all. I loved Aunt Mae. She had such a special way to always make you feel loved and welcomed. She was very kind when I lost Mother. She helped me through so many details. The last time we visited we talked most of the day and she had crocheted her final afghan-it was brown. She will be missed. My love to you all. Dianne
