Mr. James “Skip” McAllister, age 92, of Marion, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at his residence. Mr. McAllister was born July 23, 1919 and was a son of the late Albert Lee McAllister and Heddie Lou Phillips. He will be remembered by his family as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and a friend to all that knew him. Preceding Mr. McAllister in death was his wife, Mable Morgan McAllister, two sons, Mike McAllister and Grayson McAllister and daughter, Patsy Ball..
Surviving Mr. McAllister are two daughters: Diane Gilland and husband Larry of Dysartsville and Polly Wilson of Marion; four grandchildren: Dawn, Chris, Deanna and Tony; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
