Jimmy Darrell Hunt, Sr., age 63, of Marion passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at The McDowell Hospital. Mr. Hunt was born March 31, 1949 in Davidson County, NC to the late Herbert Hoover Hunt and Ethel Bullins Hunt Wright. He had retired from Collins & Aikman and will be remembered by his family as a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his step mother, Betty Hunt of Marion; two sons, Jimmy Darrell Hunt, Jr. of Marion and Christopher Hunt and his wife, Brandi Pyatt of Nebo; three grandchildren, Myka, Gage and Anna Carlene; a brother, Joey Hunt of Nebo; two sisters, Ann Honeycutt of Nebo and Nancy Hunt of Marion.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to a charity of one’s choice. |
