Dear Brown family,
I remember Larry as an extremely conscientious caring man. He hired me at McDowell Tech more than 27 years ago. My job at Tech, along with the people there, became my family. Not having been born and bred in McDowell County, the people willing shared their lives with me and my family all these years. He took a chance on a "transplant" and I am forever grateful. His guidance and gentle coaching was appreciated during the time he was my supervisor. I have thought of him fondly throughout the years, especially when Julie came to work at Tech most recently. It was so special to meet his daughter and see that the same conscientious, caring personality was evident. My heart goes out to all of you and as you mourn the loss of your husband and father. Please know that he was a man of true integrity that impacted my life.
Blessings and prayers.
