Frank Allie Bartlett, age 76, of Old Fort, N.C went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. The son of the late Bard and Esther Bartlett, he was born April 1, 1943 in McDowell County. Frank was a graduate of Old Fort High School. He was a supervisor for many years at various manufacturing companies and retired from Ethan Allen. He loved gardening and sitting on his front porch waving at passing friends. Frank is proceeded in death by his wife Gloria Early Bartlett and his sister Helen Gunter.
Survived by his sister, Evelyn Goniea of Old Fort; four children, Craig Bartlett (Jeannette) of Curwensville, PA, Keith Bartlett of Old Fort, Lorie Foreman (James) of Old Fort and Kenneth Bartlett (Kim) of Old Fort, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Westmoreland Funeral Services in Old Fort. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Cherry Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Marty Conner and Billy Conner officiating. Frank will lie in state at the church an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
