Obituary

Louise Christine Frady Mills, age 82, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation.

Louise was born November 14, 1938 in Jackson County, NC to the late Homer Frady and Bertha Lee Shuler Frady.  She was a homemaker and good at baking.  Her family especially enjoyed her Apple Walnut Cake.  She enjoyed shopping and liked to dress nice.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Gentry Clifton Mills.

Those left behind to cherish Louise’s memory are her beloved husband, James Clifton Mills; four children, Jimmy Mills of Marion, Ronnie Mills (Cathy McCormick) of Nebo, David Mills of Marion and Patricia Johnson (George Brown) of Marion; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service to celebrate Louise’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 15, 2021 at McDowell Memorial Park with Dwayne Ray officiating.
