On the morning of July 01, 2021, Mr. Michael Lee Moore, age 50 of Marion, unexpectedly departed from this life and began his new one in Heaven at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville. Michael will be best remembered for his love of people, his generosity and giving nature and his passion for antiques. He also really enjoyed gatherings of family and friends where he would be the grill master, making sure everyone had plenty to eat and letting you know that you were always welcome. Upon a visit with friends, he would always be sure to say, “If you need me for anything let me know.” Michael had a gift of finding treasures and as well as being a treasure to those that knew him. His loss has saddened the hearts of everyone whom he met on his journey in this life, but he leaves behind a long-lasting legacy of love and friendship through all of the people who he met along his way.
