Thomas Glenn Matthews, age 61, of Lake James Lodge in Nebo, NC passed away Friday, November 6, 2020.

Glenn was born January 28, 1959 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Willie F. Matthews and Mary Ruth Eason Matthews. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed all outdoor sports. He especially loved playing ball when he was younger. Glenn loved his family and was a good young man overall. He will be truly missed by his family.

Those left to cherish Glenn’s memory are three aunts, Ruth Pope (Wayland), Lou Daniels (Gerald) and YBeatrice Sheets all of Stedman, NC and one uncle, Ashford Matthews of Badin, NC.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
