Wayne Streeter, age 38, of Marion, NC went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Mission Hospital Asheville – Memorial Campus.

Wayne was born February 17, 1982 in Jackson County, NC to Mary Yvonne Carson Drayton of Marion, NC and to Kenneth Ray Streeter. He enjoyed drawing and playing video games. He enjoyed gaming so much, that he went to college to become a software engineer. Above all Wayne loved his family. He was a devoted and loving father and was the best son anyone could ask for. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother, those left behind to cherish Wayne's memory are five children, Desirae, Ava, Brianna, Aveline and Noah; one brother, Kendrick Streeter; and two step-brothers, Lavon Drayton and Dajuan Rutherford.

In keeping with Wayne's wishes no services will be held at this time.
